My name is Roslyn Sealy. I am the President of Bajan Fuh Evah . This is a register organization in the state of Florida and is responsible for Miami Carnival representing Barbados.
I was born in the parish of St. Michael, Barbados. I attended St. Matthews Primary school and Lynches Secondary School, Bridgetown Barbados. In 1979, I emigrated to the United States of America and took up residency in Miami, Florida. I presently reside in the city of Miramar, Florida.
I attended Broward College. I am presently employed at the Broward Sheriff’s Office as a Supervisor in the Inmate Property Unit. I have been employed there for sixteen years.
I am the mother of two wonderful children, Michelle Sealy-Williams and Jeffrey Sealy. I am the grandmother of two girls, Amiya Williams and Journey Sealy. I have one sister, Sonia Mapp-Hinds and one brother David Mapp.
I attend Antioch Missionary Baptist church, in the city Miami Gardens.
I served as Secretary and President of the Barbados Cultural Association of South Florida.
Presently I am the Public Relation Officer for Association of Barbadian Organization and an active member of the organization.
